Retraining rider/Groom – 2026 (Accommodation available with position)
We are looking for a Full Time Rehabilitation and Retraining Rider to join our team and play an important role in the rehabilitation, retraining and care of vulnerable Thoroughbreds. The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident in working with horses and preferably an understanding of retraining horses from the ground and under saddle. Some experience in long-reining and lunging is also preferable, with the ability to assess and feedback to the head of retraining. The role will also involve general yard duties and maintaining high standards of horse care and welfare. A hardworking, reliable and patient approach is essential, along with a genuine passion for Thoroughbreds and their welfare. Accommodation is available to the right candidate.

We are looking for a Full time or Part time member of staff, to assist with the smooth running of the yard and to maintain the high standards of horse care and welfare. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable and passionate about Thoroughbred welfare who is experienced and competent in all aspects of yard duties such as mucking out, feeding, turning out, grooming etc. Experience of handling challenging horses is preferred but not essential.
